This is Website of Professor Emeritus Abul Hasan M Sadeq, Ph. D.
Dr. Sadeq is the Vice Chancellor of Asian University of Bangladesh; wile The Hon'ble President of Bangladesh is its Chancellor.Prior to this, Professor Sadeq was Chairman of the Department of Finance, University of Dhaka, and Dean of International Islamic University Malaysia.
Dr. Sadeq is an economist, educationist, poet, author, researcher, social reformer, philanthropic, and a great organizer.
To his credit, he has many books and journal articles published from home and abroad including USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Malaysia, India and Pakistan.Besides professional books and articles on Economics, his publications in Bengali literature include poetry books, books on travels, small stories, children literature and rhymes, research based articles and so on. He has been editor and referee of several internal journals. He travelled extensively across the globe presenting papers at international conferences and seminars and as a resource person.

He received a number of National and International Awards.
2000-2001, International Man of the Year in Education by the Biographic Centre of Cambridge.
2005, Journalist Society for Human Rights & Welfare Award, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2008, Poet Abu Zafar Ubaidullah Award in Education, by Poet Abu Zafar Ubaidullah Foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2009, Shadhinota Shongshod Award (Freedom Council Award 2009).
2009, Mather Teresa Gold Medal.
2011, Vinno Matra Shishu Shahitto Award.
2011, Sir Subash Chandra Bose Award.
2016, Royal Academy Award of Jordan.
2017, Bangladesh Education Leadership Award.
